Park Inspectors Office

By: Jeff Hopkins

Here we are, over halfway thru this camping season. It’s been a pleasure meeting everyone and I want to thank you for making the transition from Maintenance, over to the Inspector’s position go so smoothly. Becky and I are trying to accommodate all your building/improvements and it’s been a pleasure working with you.

Please keep in mind that we need to keep our sites clean thru Labor Day, to avoid being fined. Please keep everything neat and tidy. Please remember to make sure you are pulling permits before you start your projects. After you are done, please make sure that you return your permits within the 30-day time frame. If any of your projects require you to pull a township permit, you must remember to call the township when your job is done and tell them you are ready for your final inspection. This goes for any permit that requires a township permit. We have been taking down a lot of dead trees this season in the green areas. If you have any dead trees or branches on your site, you should be looking to get them taken care of before winter. We all know what storms can do to dead trees. Please feel free to stop in and see me or give me a call if you have any questions or concerns. I will do whatever I can to help you out. Enjoy the rest of the summer!
