Get ready for one of the most anticipated events of Halloween in July—our Trunk or Treat at Sandy Pines! This spooktacular evening is packed with costumes, candy, creativity, and classic Halloween fun… just with a summer twist. Youth around the park will trick-or-treat their way through rows of festively decorated golf carts as members hand out candy in a safe, fun, and family-friendly setting.

Members decorating golf carts and handing out candy should plan to arrive and be fully set up at the Chapel Parking Lot by 5:00 pm. We’re expecting up to 500 kids, so please bring plenty of candy to share! From 5:00–5:30 pm, we’ll be running both our Costume Contest and Golf Cart Decoration Contest, so if you’d like to participate in either, it’s important to be on-site and ready to go by 5:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded for Best Decorated Golf Carts and Best Costumes, so feel free to get creative and have fun with your Halloween theme.

After judging wraps up, the Trunk or Treat fun continues as kids make their way through the lineup collecting candy, showing off their costumes, and soaking up the festive atmosphere. This is a favorite for families, kids, and members alike—and a great way to celebrate Halloween spirit together in the heart of summer.
