The Amazing Race

We are introducing a new event for the end of the season, The Sandy Pines Amazing Race. Based on the television show, 12 teams will partake in a series of tasks and challenges. The timed event will test teamwork, patience, aim, navigation, athleticism, and common sense.

Teams will consist of 5-7 people. All participants must be 12 years old or older. Everyone is expected to drive from challenge to challenge and complete a physical and/or mental task.

Each team can pick their color from the choices provided (first come, first served). If you are interested in participating, please sign up in the Recreation Office. It is $50 per team. This helps cover some of the materials and cost of prizes.

We need volunteers to make this event run smoothly. Volunteers will either be stationed at the different challenges or asked to follow a team to be an official scorekeeper. If you are interested in volunteering, please submit your information using the form below.

We are looking for sponsors for team t-shirts, bandanas, and individual challenges. If you are interested in sponsoring the event, please fill click the sponsorship button below and fill out your information. Please return your filled-out form to RecDept@SandyPines.com or drop them off at the Rec Station.
