Event Information:
Get ready for the ultimate adventure at Sandy Pines with our Amazing Race on Saturday, June 28th, 2025, from 3 pm to 7 pm! Inspired by the popular TV show, this event promises a thrilling mix of physical and mental challenges as teams of 5-7 people race against the clock to complete a series of tasks. Whether you excel in strategy, athleticism, or problem-solving, this race has something for everyone!
Teams must gather at the Chapel parking lot by 2:45 pm for check-in and race instructions. From there, the adventure begins as you follow clues to various locations around the park, where you’ll face exciting mini-challenges designed to test teamwork, patience, and skill. From scavenger hunt-style navigation to both physical and mental obstacles, it’s a race full of surprises!
Pre-registration is required at the Recreation Office by June 13th to ensure your team gets matching bandanas and t-shirts. With only 12 team slots available, it’s a first-come, first-served event, so be sure to sign up early! The entry fee is $50 per team, which helps cover materials and prizes. We also recommend using a golf cart for transportation between challenge spots to save time and energy.
We’re also seeking volunteers to help make this event run smoothly! Volunteers will be stationed at challenge points or assigned as official scorekeepers for teams. If you’re interested in volunteering, please use the form below to sign up and be a part of the excitement!
