Event Information:
Get ready for the ultimate Sandy Pines adventure—The Amazing Race is back! Inspired by the hit TV show, this high-energy competition sends teams racing across the park, tackling a mix of physical and mental challenges. Teams are made up of 5–7 people, and with only 12 team spots available, early registration is essential!
Teams will kick things off at the Chapel parking lot, arriving at least 15 minutes early for check-in and instructions. Once the race begins, you’ll follow clue cards leading to secret locations around the park. Each stop features a mini-challenge designed to test teamwork, strategy, patience, athleticism, and good old problem-solving. Expect everything from fast-paced physical tasks to clever puzzles—and plenty of surprises along the way.
Golf carts are strongly recommended to help teams move quickly between challenge locations.
Pre-registration is required at the Recreation Office. Signing up by the deadline guarantees your team matching bandanas and t-shirts. The cost is $50 per team, which helps cover materials and prizes.
