Need a Game Idea?

Not sure where to start? Try building a game inspired by Sandy Pines, camping, golf carts, pools, the Ropes Course, summer weekends, or your favorite park memories. Here are a few ideas to help spark your creativity before you design your own!

Board Game

Race to the Campsite

Create a colorful path around Sandy Pines and race to get your camper set up before sunset.

  • Move around the board by rolling dice or spinning a spinner.
  • Add spaces like “Stop at the Dairy Dip,” “Golf Cart Traffic,” or “Forgot the Marshmallows.”
  • First player to reach their campsite wins.
Card Game

Golf Cart Go!

Make a fast-paced card game where players collect supplies for the perfect park day.

  • Create cards for pools, snacks, towels, sunscreen, golf carts, friends, and activities.
  • Add action cards like “Battery Low,” “Take a Shortcut,” or “Rain Delay.”
  • The first player to collect everything for their Sandy Pines day wins.
Dice Game

Pool Day Dash

Roll the dice and see how many pool day points you can score.

  • Each number on the dice can mean something different, like swim, snack, splash, rest, or slide.
  • Players can earn points for matching rolls or completing pool day challenges.
  • Add a “thunder break” rule where everyone has to pause for one turn.
Memory Game

Sandy Pines Match-Up

Design a matching game with pairs of Sandy Pines favorites.

  • Draw matching pairs like golf carts, campfires, beach balls, pool noodles, s’mores, bikes, and playgrounds.
  • Place all cards face down and take turns finding matches.
  • Add a bonus rule: say your favorite Sandy Pines memory when you find a match.
Adventure Game

Ropes Course Rescue

Build a challenge-style game where players complete obstacles and collect courage points.

  • Create spaces for climbing, balancing, ziplining, and teamwork challenges.
  • Use cards to add obstacles like “Wobbly Bridge” or “Helmet Check.”
  • The player with the most courage points at the end wins.
Trivia Game

Campground Challenge

Create your own trivia game with questions about camping, summer, Sandy Pines, and family fun.

  • Make question cards with categories like Camping, Pools, Golf Carts, Nature, and Recreation.
  • Players move forward when they answer correctly.
  • Add silly challenge cards for extra fun.
Strategy Game

Build Your Perfect Park Day

Players plan their dream Sandy Pines day by choosing activities, snacks, and stops around the park.

  • Create tokens for time, energy, and fun points.
  • Players decide how to spend their day: pool, ropes course, mini golf, Dairy Dip, playgrounds, or relaxing at the campsite.
  • The player with the most fun points at the end wins.
Party Game

Campfire Charades

Make a simple guessing game using Sandy Pines and camping-themed action cards.

  • Create cards like “Roasting a Marshmallow,” “Driving a Golf Cart,” “Jumping in the Pool,” or “Setting Up a Tent.”
  • Players act out the card while others guess.
  • Add a timer to make it extra exciting.
