COVID-19 July 26 Update

To our valued Sandy Pines Members and Community. We wanted to provide an update to our RAVE Alerts that were sent late yesterday afternoon (Saturday 7/25). We were notified that a member of our staff tested positive for COVID-19.  Upon this notification, Sandy Pines contacted Allegan County Health Department.  As an immediate response to protect the health and safety of our workforce and our Sandy Pines and Lake Monterey community, we notified all employees and took preventative actions such as, employees in close contact/same department be tested. We are also taking the following steps (as applicable):

  • Closing the Administration Office, Sales Office and Public Safety Office
  • Cancelling all appointments at those offices until further notice
  • Instituting remote workforce immediately until further notice
  • Sanitizing all impacted offices with an outside cleaning company specifically focused on COVID-19
  • Providing testing assistance and locations for any employee(s) wishing to be tested

What does this mean for service to the membership?  Administration Staff will be working remotely, checking voicemails and emails. We will provide the best assistance we can while we are working remote.  This will be similar to how we functioned in April and May of this year prior to allowing access and opening the park.  We will have limited staff at the PSO Office. They will be kept separate from each other with support in the office answering phones and emails while another is outside the office patrolling the park.

Based on the above actions we will be working with the Allegan County Health Department on next steps to keep our staff membership, associates and guests safe. We will provide updates once we have them.

Please continue to visit our website at SandyPines.com/COVID19.  For answers not found online, please contact our Member Service Office at 616-896-8315 x-100 or Public Safety Office at Security@SandyPines.com  at 616.896.9006.  I’m also available to help with any questions you may have by email or phone. We will get through this by working together.  Thank you for your grace, patience and understanding as we work together in the best interests of Sandy Pines.

God bless and stay safe!

Great job on the response, I work at a food plant, our offices have been closed for the same reason . We all were tested and our offices running remotely actually have proven more efficient. Good job again and my prayers are with you , keep healthy and most of all positive.

I too need an absentee ballot. KEith Administration and PSO closed, Can we request it to be mailed to our home. We live in Warren and are not getting to Sandy Pines often this year with Covid 19
