Whether it is your first year at Sandy Pines or your 50th, it is important to stay up to date with what is happening around the park! There are a variety of mediums to keep you informed, and we have a lot planned as we are celebrating our 50th anniversary this year!
Our website is the command central in the world of communications. Everything we put out to members and the public is born and lives on our website before it is sent out to the world. If you are ever having a hard time finding something hit the search button in the top right corner! The Members Page is one stop for most everything you need in terms of park news and information. The website also includes the Park News Feed, which is a blog feed similar to a Social Media feed. These posts appear in chronological order and are sorted by department, so if you are looking for Park News it will show up in the feed on the Members page.
The Footprints Newsletter is composed monthly during the year. Electronic copies are always available at the first of the month on the website, are posted on Facebook, and are sent out with the Weekly eNews. Print copies are usually available for pick up within the first week of the month at Member Service or Public Safety. Print copies are mailed via bulk USPS mail service and are usually received around the 15th of each month. Please contact Member Service if you would like to be added to the bulk mailing list. Our electronic newsletter (e-news) is sent weekly during the regular season and every few weeks in the off season using MailChimp email marketing software. Social Media Channels
We keep our social media up to date with important topics happening around the park, events, cancellations, sharing our beautiful park, and so much more! Make sure you give us a follow!
Facebook – All of our big park news and updates are posted on Facebook after they are posted on our website. Most of these Facebook posts link back to our website for more information.
Instagram – Like, follow, and share lots of park photos with us @SandyPinesOfficial. Your photo may be featured on next year’s wall calendar!
YouTube – We record and upload all of our Board of Directors and Face to Phase Meetings here. Be sure to check those out for a deep dive of what is going on behind the scenes!
Sandy Pines Cable Channels
The Sandy Pines Cable Channels rotate park news updates and information that trickle down through our website and social media. You can view the channels on Channel 27.1 – 27.4.
Rave Alert System
Last but not least, our Rave Alert System. Rave is an emergency alert system that will automatically text and email you in the event of regional and local severe weather events. We also have the ability to text and email you important park news and updates through this platform. How can you make sure you’re on the list for these alerts? Member Web Access automatically syncs with the alert system. The best way to make sure you’re up to date is to confirm that we have your updated cell phone numbers and email addresses. You cannot opt out of emergency and park news alerts, but we do have our Happy Camper Rave Text Opt-In List that we use for various park updates. You can opt in and out of this list anytime.

50th Anniversary Online Store
