Event Information

Get ready for a park-wide adventure with our Flag Hunt! Grab your family or friends, hop in a golf cart, and explore Sandy Pines as you search for American flags throughout the park. Participants will drive through each Phase—including the Condos—and take a selfie with two American flags per Phase, making sure each photo includes a visible lot number or recognizable landmark to confirm the location.

Once you’ve collected all 14 photos, head to the Recreation Office to show your patriotic proof and receive some candy or a fun prize. We’ll also be creating a Facebook post where participants can share their photos in the comments—so don’t forget to show off your red, white, and blue spirit!

This is a great way to celebrate the holiday, explore the park, and have some lighthearted fun together. Happy hunting!

Park-Wide Hunt Drive through each Phase, including the Condos, as you search for American flags around the park.
Selfie Challenge Take a selfie with two American flags per Phase. Each photo should include a visible lot number or recognizable landmark.
Gift Cards & Prize Bin The first 5 people to finish will receive a $5 gift card. Everyone else who completes the hunt can choose from the prize bin!
How the Flag Hunt Works

Grab Your Group Gather your family or friends and get ready to explore the park.

Find the Flags Search each Phase and the Condos for American flags.

Take 14 Photos Snap two selfies per Phase with a flag and a visible lot number or landmark.

Claim Your Prize Bring your completed photos to the Recreation Office. The first 5 people finished receive a $5 gift card, and all other finishers can choose from the prize bin.
Photo goal: 2 American flag selfies per Phase, including the Condos, for a total of 14 photos. The Recreation Team will be checking photo timestamps, so no early starts, speedy patriots!
Share your hunt! We will also have a Facebook post where participants can share their photos in the comments. Show off your red, white, and blue spirit after the hunt!
