We Will Miss You Kelli

Kelli Blackman, Camping/Guest Services Manager, passed away on November 7th, following a brief battle with cancer. Kelli had been an employee of Sandy Pines for 25 years. She was multi-talented, knew how to do just about everything that needed to be done, and was a kind and gentle soul.

Kelli was one to get the job done without the need for accolades or praise…she just got it done. She was always ready and willing to lend a helping hand in whatever area of the park that she was needed. She was known to go out and help clean bathrooms with the Maintenance Team during the winter months, because she didn’t have enough to do while at her desk.

Sandy Pines has lost a dear friend and employee who has left footprints on our hearts, and we will never be quite the same. Thank you to Kelli for her positivity and loyalty and for the wonderful example she set for all of us with her work ethic.

A Kelli Blackman Benefit fund has been set up at Huntington Bank to help her family cover medical expenses. This account is available until November 15, 2019, should you choose to donate. Checks can be made out to the Kelli Blackman Benefit or cash is also accepted.

At Kelli’s request, funeral and visitation services will not be held.

If you knew Kelli, you loved Kelli. We will carry her memory in our hearts forever. May God Bless and comfort the hearts of all who knew and loved her. We will miss you, dear friend!!
