Park Inspectors Office

By Jeff Hopkins Inspector@SandyPines.com

Welcome back – hopefully you all are settled in. We have lots of things planned for the season and with any luck we will be able to have a fun filled season.

Driving through the park you should see lots of things that we have accomplished over the winter to improve the appearance of the park. We all have lots to be proud of in our park at Sandy Pines.

With our 50 year anniversary upon us let’s all take extra pride in our park and work as a team to keep it in tip top shape. With all that happened last season with Covid 19, my office was very relaxed on Lot/Site inspections. This year let’s really pay attention to our lots and continue to keep them tidy.

A few key points I would like to touch base on:

  1. Moss on roofs of trailers and porches.
  2. Moss or mold on side of trailers and
    porches.
  3. Leaves and/or sticks and brush.
  4. Overall tidiness of the lot.

The deadline for lot cleanup is June 10. We all have plenty of time to do what we need to do to make our lots clean and looking good for the 2021 season. After June 10 fines will be imposed for Sites that are not cleaned, in accordance with Sandy Pines standards.

The new updated contractors list is up and online for all members, we have several new contractors on the list this year, so be sure to check it out.

If you have, or see trees in the green space that need attention, please let me know and I will get them on the list to be taken care of. Any permits that you need, either for trees or your building projects, can be found online or can be done in my office. Becky or I would be happy to help you if you need assistance.

Again, welcome back! I look forward to seeing all of you again this season and look forward to working with you throughout your projects.
