August is now here. What a summer it has been starting a month late and all the restrictions that we needed to follow and now it is coming to a close. Park and Garden has been very busy this summer and we want to thank all of you for supporting us throughout the season.
As we begin to think about closing up the 2020 season, we need to begin thinking about the water softeners for next year. If you would like to receive a discount on next year’s price be sure to sign a new contract for the softener use for 2021 before you leave the park. To receive the discount, you must have signed the contract before October 15th.
We also need to know when you will be finished with the softener for the season. We do not pick them up immediately on the date you’re finished with them, but we need to schedule them in areas for pick up. Stop by the store before you leave for the season to sign the contract and give us your pickup date.
Christmas in August is coming up soon. Do you have your lights for the display on your sight? Stop by the store and see our selection of lights that are available. Help light up the park this Christmas.
We also have a supply of damp rid units to put into your units when you leave to help with the moisture over the winter.
The marina, the rental office and store are open until after Labor Day when we go to special hours.
Remember the marina is open Wednesday and Friday nights from 5 pm to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 pm.
If you are looking for lumber for any building projects stop by and check out our supply in the store. We have been able to get treated lumber all summer when other lumber yards are out.
As with the general public, we have experienced a shortage of supply of Toilet Paper. As of July 20th, we have received in a new supply and are set for the rest of the season.
