To our valued Sandy Pines Members and Community:

As you are aware, the number of COVID-19 cases continue to rise throughout the State of Michigan as well as Allegan County.  With our official opening of the park taking place on April 15, 2021, we have seen much activity within the park by members returning from many different areas of Michigan and other states.  With the increased interaction with our members and staff, we will be going back to appointments only over the next two weeks.  We are still preparing for a full return of our members, associates and guests to celebrate our 50th Anniversary.

Operations will target a return to normal, effective May 10, 2021.

Sandy Pines has in place a COVID-19 Emergency Plan and Procedure which meets MIOSHA requirements.  The team will continue to meet the MIOSHA and MDHHS social distancing and workplace requirements. Sandy Pines’ leadership continues to work with representatives from the Allegan County Health Department (“ACHD”) and MIOSHA reviewing this requirement.  Our return to work and normal operations process and procedures are reviewed regularly to protect the health and safety of our workforce and our Sandy Pines and Lake Monterey community. Below are actions Sandy Pines will be implementing until May 10, 2021. We will continue to monitor and provide additional announcements as needed or required:

Administration Office will be open by appointment only. Appointments will only be taken for business needs that cannot be done remotely.  Member dues payments and other business can be completed on-line through your member web access, placed in the drop box or mailed for processing. Masks are required to enter our office(s).

Sales and Camping Office will be open by appointment only.  Appointments will only be taken for business needs that cannot be done remotely. The sales and camping team will continue processing paperwork, updating listings, completing transfers, responding to camping reservations, answering voicemails and emails. Masks are required to enter our office(s).

Public Safety Office will be open by appointment only. Appointments will only be taken for business needs that cannot be done remotely. We will continue to fully staff the PSO on all 3 shifts for 24-hour, 7 day per week monitoring, securing our park and responding to medical and other calls on-site.  Appointments will be needed for making of member cards, golf cart registration and license plate pick up.  Masks are required to enter our office(s).

Maintenance and Park Inspector will continue to work.  Our Maintenance and Park Inspector will continue to staff these departments to continue with the projects and maintenance of our park to keep operations flowing. The team will continue to meet the MIOSHA and MDHHS social distancing and workplace requirements.  The Maintenance team and Park Inspector will be able to accept appointments for business needs that cannot be done remotely.

Lake Monterey Golf Course will continue to work. The team will continue working at the golf course to continue projects and operational needs. Tee times and other business should be conducted on-line as much as possible.  Masks are required to enter the club house.

Will we still be following guidance from the Michigan Dept of Health on masking and distancing throughout the park or only in the offices and CCs?

We will be following recommended guidelines all throughout the park!
