Spectrum has instituted our new channel lineup; all channels have changed. Please know, we do not have control over which local or regional affiliates they have contracted for area channels. Thank you for understanding we cannot change the lineup. With 156 HD Channels, we hope you find new entertaining options.
We are pursuing Spectrum with regard to reinsertion of our Sandy Pines Channels, our more “local” network channels and insertion of Fox Sports Detroit on the Regional Sports Network. We cannot make promises, but please know we are repeatedly asking for resolution of these issues.
As of Friday, April 19 Spectrum did notify us that some of our local programming was integrated back into our lineup however we don’t have official confirmation of which channels. We do recommend re scanning channels on a weekly basis during this process to make sure you have access to the most recent channel lineups.
Each TV you have will need to be individually scanned. We recommend a power cycle to start – unplug each TV and let it rest for a full two minutes. Power on, then go to your TV’s menu system, choose cable as your source, and rescan all channels. For older TV’s it may take more than one scan.
If after a full power cycle and scan, your TV says “No Signal,” there may be a problem with a connection or the drop coming into your unit. Check the cable connections on the TV and at any installed splitters. If the connections inside and out are solid and after a second power cycle/channel scan, and, if ALL of your TV’s still say “No Signal,” call Member Service for a Spectrum appointment. An adult must be present for Spectrum to enter your site. If you have multiple TV’s and one or two work, but one doesn’t, there is likely a problem with the splitter or the cable running to that TV, which is your responsibility. Splitters, connectors and small jump cables are available at Member Service to help with troubleshooting. If you insist on a service call and the technician arrives to find you only needed a channel scan, you will be charged the service call fee of $165.00, no exceptions.
